I still would like to understand one thing:

You said in earlier posts that, yes, there are different SignSpellings for
the same sign and that it's up to Deaf readers/writers themselves to
choose the one they feel is the most clearly understood. I think you said
something such as the "signspelling most frequently chosen". So I asked
you "How do you know which is the most used?".

I think that maybe you missed it because it was too short in comparison to
the remnant of my email. So I'm asking it again :-)

Given two different signspellings in signpuddle, how does one know which
one is the most used? From the point of view of a SignPuddle user (one
that browses through it), it is relatively easy to see at one glance two
different signspellings and choose one. But from the point of view of
someone pouring signs in the SignPuddle, how does s/he know which
signspellings are clicked/chosen more than others?

If it would be possible know that users of SignPuddle tend to choose some
kinds of signspellings more than others, it might help editors in the task
of inserting other signs.
