Where is your friend, Shane. I live near Washington DC and can find some time (once the blizzard lets up). Happy to teach SW and SignMaker. I don't have it on my machine (it's FAR too slow), but I use SignPuddle all the time. I've been using SW for about 25 years, and it would be nice to teach it again. I'm a hearie, but I am fairly proficient in ASL and have been learning LIBRAS.

Everyone,

Is there anyone in Washington DC who is good with SignWriting?

Its just that I ll like to ask the person to go and teach my mate in
Washington DC how to use the sign-maker etc. I know you ll say 'oh, its so
easy to use, look it on the website etc!' but I ll rather it if it is being
taught thru ASL.

Trying to teach someone how to write ASL (using English) is a bit stupid - u
know?

Shane
