Dear SignWriting friends,
Two weeks and counting till the first European SignWriting Symposium  
will be a fact!

I hope everyone found a nice and cosy hotel? And remembered that the  
Symposium is at Kasterlinden, Dilbeekstraat 1, 1082 Sint-Agatha-Berchem.

1. Choose a workshop please.
We would like you to respond to this e-mail and let us know which  
workshop you choose for the first and second day.
21 july: workshop 1: spelling (writing SignWriting) and sentences 2:  
computers and SW
22 july: workshop 1: spelling (writing SW) education 2: computers

2. Lunch and drinks
You do not need a lunch box, we provide lunch at the school. Also  
coffee, tea, soft-drinks.

3. Information please
If everybody would be so kind to email me interessting webpages or  
booktitles or anything you find interessting for the participants of  
this ESWS. A report you wouldn't mind sharing, a dissertation, etc...

This way I will be able to make an information folder for every  
participant, which you will receive on arrival.

We would also appreciate it if you would bring materials, questions  
or suggestions you have to the symposium. We want this to be an  
interactive symposium, not just informative.

4. Funds
Last but not least, please remember to bring 20 euro in cash to the  
symposium. Thank you very much.

5. Party?
Partypeople will be happy to know our Independence day is 21th of  
july. Brussels will be a mix of boozers, partyanimals and culture  
freaks. (we'll fit right in ;)  Belgium will be 175 years old that  
night. I will take you to the centre of Brussels, I hope everyone  
will have fun.

FLEMISH TRANSLATION

Beste GebarenSchrift liefhebbers,

Nog twee weken te gaan en dan zal het eerste Europees GebarenSchrift  
Symposium een feit zijn. Ik hoop dat iedereen een leuk en gezellig  
hotel heeft gevonden? En onthouden heeft dat het symposium doorgaat  
in Kasterlinden, Dilbeekstraat 1, 1082 Sint-Agatha-Berchem.

1. Kies een workshop aub.

We zouden graag hebben dat u op deze mail zou antwoorden en ons te  
laten weten welke workshop u verkiest voor de eerste en de tweede dag.
21 juli: workshop 1: spelling (GebarenSchrift schrijven) in zinnen 2:  
computers en GS
22 juli: workshop 1: spelling (GS schrijven) en onderwijs 2:  
computers en GS

2. Eten en drinken (middag).
Een brooddoos meenemen is niet nodig. Er is eten voorzien op school,  
alsook koffie, thee en frisdrank.

3. Informatie aub.
Als iedereen zo vriendelijk wil zijn om mij interessante  
webpagina’s, boekentitels of al wat u interessant lijkt voor de  
andere deelnemers aan het ESWS door te mailen, een verslag dat u  
wenst te delen of een eindwerk, enz.. Op deze manier ben ik in staat  
de informatie te bundelen in een folder en die aan iedere deelnemer  
te geven bij aankomst.
We zouden het ook waarderen moest u zelf materialen, vragen en  
bedenkingen meebrengen naar het symposium. We willen er graag een  
interactief symposium van maken, niet enkel een informatief.

4. Geld.
Gelieve niet te vergeten 20 euro cash mee te brengen naar het  
symposium. Dank u wel!

5. Feest?

Fuifbeesten zullen blij zijn te vernemen dat onze nationale feestdag  
op 21 juli valt. Brussel zal een mix zijn van zuipers, feestbeesten  
en cultuursnuivers. (daar passen we zeker tussen ;) België zal die  
nacht 175 jaar oud zijn. Ik breng u naar het centrum van Brussel en  
hoop dat iedereen het naar zijn zin zal hebben.
