Dear Steve and Valerie,

I am sorry to disturb you with this underlining issue -

We do live perfectly with what we have. My readers understand the concept of
"marking" proper nouns perfectly.

Valerie is absolutely right it would be possible to just mark specific
aspects for the purpose of teaching grammar to deaf children - but that
would not support a quick and easy reading!!!!

I prefer just to write my documents in "normal" black and white - just for
greeting cards with Photoshop and fancy TT-Font construction it might be
some inspiration ,,,, ?

I do not believe that coloring the different elements would support the deaf
child to become a better SW- reader. With all these colors you get much more
to think about ...

But as you said before Valerie - if people try to find out what works best
for their situation why not - smile

Stefan ;-))

With your great SignPuddle color features, we could even make all
verbs red and all proper nouns blue, like this one, which I did in
one stroke...That is a great feature, Steve....But all this requires
modern software, and with SignWriter DOS the underlining has worked
very well, also because it is horizontal writing too...not vertical.
