Hello Juliette and Everyone!
When writing signs that you already know, it is easy to make  
assumptions. You know the sign, so the ending position is obvious to  
you.

But when foreigners to your language, or when beginning signers, try  
to read the same sign, they will not be able to assume knowledge of  
the sign. This means that they have to guess, while reading, how to  
end the sign.
