question again...

In one of the course (I think it comes from the Packurst's course) it  
was written that this first movment is an opening movment of the hand- 
finger joint....it was the written that this one (below) is a  
closing movement of the hand-finger joint
the thing that got me confused is to talk of opening or  
closing.... if so.... I couldn't understand how to use all the  
differently oriented triangle symbols (when they are not pointing  
down or up....

is it OK to say that this symbol indicates the way the hand-finger  
joint moves (can be closing or opening.... just depends where it's  
written....)

let me know if I'm correct
