SignWriting List
April 11, 2007
This is great news. What an amazing service YouTube is providing to
the world!
Maybe you all can make a decision, how you want to use YouTube here
on the List, and also for specific DAC editing tasks.
Three different cases...
1. Here on the List we need the videos for viewing individual signs
we are discussing
2. the DAC needs to view longer videos for editing documents...
3. There is a place in SignPuddle 1.5 which allows for uploading
videos that are connected with the dictionary entries...but I am
concerned with our own web area not having enough bandwidth for a lot
of video uploads...or at least it will become costly for us over time...
Steve - is there a way that we could really post the videos to
YouTube or GoogleVideo instead, but the link would be in our
SignPuddle online?
