I mainly like it because I can easily copy and paste 4 columns into Microsoft Word.

Hi Bill,

Ron likes the old Translate feature. With the 1.0 translate, you can
save the gloss and you'll always get the same SignWriting output. With
the 1.5 translate, you are not guaranteed the same SignWriting because
the new translate is based on choice.

It's the difference between using "you_3" to get the correct sign and
using "you" and selecting the 3rd sign.

If you have a long verse and you want to change a single sign, you can
change "you_3" to "you_4" and you're done. However, with 1.5, you'll
need to make a selection for every sign that has multiple choices.

Regards,

-Steve

Ron,

Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer Signpuddle 1.0 over 1.5? Is
it because 1.0 still has all the graphic entries from the old DOS
version of Signwriting or what is there about Signpuddle 1.0 that makes
it more suitable to the way you work?

Bill

Hi Ron,

Do you need me to re-enable SignMaker for SignPuddle 1.0? If so, which
dictionaries?

Regards,

-Steve

don't remove SignPuddle 1.0 Dana and I prefer it and it works much
better with what we are doing. I was afraid this might happen one day.
Our project depends on Sign Puddle 1.0
