Hi everyone,

This is Maria from Malta. I was part of the team of the Maltese Sign
Language Project a couple of years ago. I've just returned to work
part-time.

The two main projects I am involved with are the Dictionary of Maltese
Sign Language (which is on-going work, that started back 2001, the editor
is Dr Marie Alexander from the University of Malta) and producing texts in
signwriting from the Bible for the Deaf community.

I've just been in touch with Valerie who suggested I should subscribe
again to the list. There are clearly so many new developments and tools in
the signwriting field (well done to everyone who's been working so hard!),
that I'm quite sure I'll be needing a lot help from the List as I go
along.
