Vector Graphics in SignWriting

I am glad you brought this up, Gerard, because actually I am surprised
how hard it is to work with an SVG image...Of course we can all view
the SVG in our web browsers, so viewing is not an issue....and I
believe that Adobe Illustrator can access and change an SVG image, but
I do not own Adobe Illustrator, and I wanted to open it in Photoshop,
and to my surprise it seems that Photoshop cannot open an SVG image...

Do you know of other programs besides Illustrator that can manipulate
and change an SVG? It doesn't seem as "easy to change" as a bitmaps,
for example...

Obviously the difference is between "viewing" and "editing"...two very
different things...

It is a beautiful format to view, that is for sure! And I am happy
that someday we will have an SVG version for the ISWA 2008...

Val ;-)
