what do you think of these ASL and SASL videos?

I downloaded the ASL demo.  Some of the handshapes are strange.  I wonder, since its paired with South African SL, if its not -American- ASL.  ASL is used in other places besides here, so maybe that could explain the strange handshapes in "ASL."  The few signs shown are familiar, if a bit English.  A couple have movements that are not quite what I am used to-- could be regional, could be the same thing as the handshapes.
