I set a goal for myself of rendering sign using SignWriting in a pdf
document in one week. I'm two days early, and am happy to report
that I've published my first document that includes sign:
http://lodockikumazvati.org/prekarni/20100326_le_vajrai_se_tadni_draft/
As I talk about in that entry, there are two big problems I still
need to fix: I'm scaling each sign individually, so the all render
at different scales, and I'm not rendering images aligned with any
baseline, so they don't line up with each other right-to-left.
All the same, I'm really pleased with the result so far!
The tools I used to generate this document are published here, if
anyone would like to look at the process I used to create this
document:

I consider this nothing more than a first step, but I'm really quite
happy with it!
Thank you everyone for your wonderful help, feedback, and criticism.
For those of you who haven't spoken up, thank you for looking at my
work.
Has anyone rendered signs in a document like this and dealt with any
of these problems? I would love to leverage your work if you'll share
it.
