And behind the differences in my and Adam's translations might be how we took the intention of the sentence.  When I saw the sentence, I immediately thought of the little plaque that went out with some space probe showing the human physique and saying some phrase in many earth languages.  So my translation is geared to someone who knows nothing about humans or earth.  lol
