SignWriting List
September 12, 2011
Hi Trevor, Charles, Bill and everyone -
We all hope that we will be able to use SignPuddle on Safari someday- but meanwhile I believe you can read signs and literature on Safari, just can't compose I believe -
I will announce one new event next message and then I am going to go offline for a few days, as I need rest -
Thanks for your messages and no worries about anything -
Val ;-)

I would think after your long association with Valerie that you would have adopted a tone of cooperation and collaboration. Is this a cultural deaf way of writing?

These observations may be occasioned because I myself use a very deliberate accustative and argumentative style in my own emails. In my case it's not a Deaf (sic) way of writing -- I'm hearing --- but my preference and my right. It demonstrates my character, whether the reader likes it or not. If we were all to write in an homogenised fashion then this would be a poorer place indeed.

However, when I use my iPad I am forced to use Safari no matter how much I hate it and lament the absence of essential tools (the most essential being AdBlockPlus) that I exploit in Firefox. So should I ever need to update SignPuddle while away from my desk Safari is what I stuck with. Seems I wouldn't be able to make use of SignPuddle then.
