Hello Asmaa Shaban, and everyone in your computer science department -
Welcome to the SignWriting List!
Are you in Saudi Arabia? I noticed on Facebook that you might know Arabic? I ask because it is good to know what "text" you are using to then translate to sign language…and which sign language as well as which spoken language?
We are happy to help you -
Have you seen this web page?:
SignWriting in Arabic Nations
http://www.signwriting.org/arabia
Are you using SignPuddle Online? That is important because SignPuddle software can use SVG, but no longer uses SWML:
SignPuddle Online for Saudi Arabia

So it looks like to me that you are using old software - way back in time, we used a program called SignWriter DOS, and SignWriter DOS used gifs -
Here are some of the more modern programs:
SignPuddle, the SignWriting Icon Server, the SignWriting Thin Viewer and so forth -
See www.signpuddle.com, www.signpuddle.net and www.signpuddle.org…
Steve - we need your help! ;-)
There are also other programs such as SignWriter Studio www.signwriterstudio.com and others -
Have you seen this study?
