> General Announcements from LLT
> We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year 2023!
> LLT publishes new content every other week. Stay tuned with our new RSS feed, subscribe to the listserv, or follow us on social media. See the bottom of the page to access these options.
> Since 2022, LLT has implemented a Continuous Article Publication process that publishes manuscripts as they become available. We are happy to announce that our CAP (Continuous Article Publication) Model has been in effect for a year, and the rollout has been smooth and productive. In that time, we have been able to publish 29 new articles, columns, and reviews, a 15% increase in productivity compared to the previous year. We hope to continue increasing our publication capacity through the continued assistance of our volunteer copyeditor community. Special thanks and appreciation to Richard Medina and Skyler Riela for all of their enormous efforts in making this successful!
> It is a pleasure to remind our readership (and listenership) of our new podcasts, Voices from LLT, hosted by our Podcast Editor, Hayo Reinders. In our most recent episode <https://soundcloud.com/lltjournal/llt-04>, we speak with Robert Godwin-Jones, contributor over a period of 25 years of some of the most widely-read and appreciated articles in the journal.
> We are pleased to welcome Kristin Rock as our new Media Editor! She is succeeding Ruslan Suvorov, whom we thank for his excellent work over the past two years. We would also like to announce that Mimi Li will be editing both the Language Teacher Education and Technology Forum and the Language Teaching and Technology forum. We are grateful to Greg Kessler for his many years of editing the Language Teaching and Technology Forum.
> Finally, a reminder that we have created a special section of the journal for Review Articles, studies that provides critical overviews of empirical research in a given subfield of CALL, edited by Yu-Ju Lan.

> Envisioning Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL) <https://nflrc.hawaii.edu/events/view/126/>
> The NFLRC is pleased to again offer Envisioning Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL), a 5-module open-enrollment self-study course for language educators beginning to learn about PBLL. Successful learners will be able to describe essential features of high quality PBLL and to generate high-quality ideas for projects using the Product Square. A digital badge is available for candidates fulfilling course requirements. The registration deadline for this free course is February 24, 2023. The course will be open through March 31, 2023 for registered participants.
> 2023 NFLRC Summer Institute: Project-Based Language Learning in Action <https://nflrc.hawaii.edu/events/view/2023-si/>
> May 31-June 7, 2023, Honolulu, HI
> Application deadline: March 17, 2023
> Prerequisite: Envisioning PBLL MOOC digital badge <https://nflrc.hawaii.edu/events/view/126/>
> At various points in our lives, we each find ourselves immersed in experiences that move us in deeply powerful ways, inspiring intellectual change, personal transformation, and social action. Join us in exploring the use of project-based language learning (PBLL) as a framework for crafting compelling environments and experiences for language learners. During the 2023 NFLRC Summer Institute held at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, participants will learn how to orchestrate rich, experiential language learning opportunities that draw on a diverse array of disciplines and how to develop a plan to research the effectiveness of their project design and teaching.
> After participating in a short face-to-face, project-based language learning experience, each participant will design a well-scaffolded project for use in their own language classes. Join a team of experts with background in PBLL, language pedagogy, action research, and assessment to redefine what it means to teach, transform what it is possible for students to learn, discover, and make real-life impacts in the process! Visit our webpage for more information <https://nflrc.hawaii.edu/events/view/2023-si/>.
