Dear SignWriting List Members, and René González Puerto,

I want to welcome a new List member from Mexico, who lives in Houston, Texas, and wishes to learn SignWriting to write Mexican Sign Language (LSM). His name is René González Puerto, from Lone Star College ASL Interpreting Intern program, in Houston, Texas. As you can read below, René is interested in private lessons with a SignWriting teacher. If there is a teacher available, I hope you will offer your services online.

Although I could teach you privately, René, I would prefer that others offer to teach you.

Meanwhile, here on the SignWriting List, you can have free lessons, by just downloading books and literature on your own, and learning to start to write signs in SignPuddle 2 online. Then you can ask questions, here on the SignWriting List. Many people learn SignWriting this way, by just reading books and literature online, and then starting to read and write signs in SignPuddle 2. And asking questions here on the SW List...

So that is where I will begin.
