Hi All,

This is a note to alert everyone that Prof. Yasuhiko Nagano (長野泰彥先生) has just published his long-awaited grammar of rGyalrong:

『嘉戎語文法研究』, 東京: 汲古書院, 2018 (http://www.kyuko.asia/book/b397702.html)

(A Reference Grammar of the rGyalrong Language – Bhola Dialect. Tokyo: Kyuko Shoin, 2018)

It is 475 pages plus a CD with the audio of 200 basic sentences and 260 daily expressions included in the book, and beautifully produced (the hardback).

Aside from the grammar proper the book includes a list of basic words, with finder’s lists in English and Japanese, the 200 basic sentences, the 260 daily expressions, a Japanese subject index, an English and Tibetan subject index, and an index to the rGyalrong morphs.

Prof. Nagano informs me that he is working on an English translation.
