Thanks very much for this, Bettina! It is great to see so much progress being made on this topic. But I see this as progress in linguistics more generally as well, as all linguistic analysis should focus, as you have, on the pragmatic variability of the use of forms based on the particular interaction in a particular context for particular purposes.
You guys are leading the way! So I do hope you publish this in some way as a model of how it can be done.
