[Ura-list] New Trends in Nordic and General Linguistics

Dear colleagues,

I am writing to inform you of a newly published book on New Trends in Nordic and General Linguistics, ed. by Martin Hilpert, Jan-Ola Martin Östman, Christine Mertzlufft, Michael Rießler, and Janet Duke as volume 42 of the series Linguae & Litterae (De Gruyter). The book includes selected papers from the 11th International Conference of Nordic and General Linguistics (ICNGL), which took place at the University of Freiburg in 2012. 

The organizers of the conference and editors of the volume aimed for an areal interpretation of the adjective Nordic. Consequently, the volume includes papers on Finnic and Saamic languages spoken in the Circum-Baltic area. There is also one paper on Mari.
