(Apologies for cross-posting!)

Dear colleagues,

We are glad to inform you about the publication of an electronic dictionary of Ket (Yeniseian, Glottocode: kett1243). This is a revised and extended version of the Comprehensive Dictionary of Ket, Kotorova & Nefedov (eds.) (2015), published with the support of MPI-EVA, Leipzig (Prof. Bernard Comrie).
The electronic version underwent substantial revision by the original editors-in-chief E. Kotorova and A. Nefedov. Key updates include:

  *   Expansion of the headword list to include ethnocultural vocabulary, with corresponding explanations and references to ethnographic sources;
  *   Revision of the structure of some dictionary entries;
  *   General corrections made to the original text of dictionary entries;
  * English translations added to illustrative Ket examples, supplementing the original Russian translations.
Conversion into electronic form was carried out by E. Lazarenko and A. Nefedov. Technical implementation of the online version was done by E. Lazarenko.

  * The online version presents the entries in a tabular view and allows searching in each column separately (“Headword”, “Part of speech”, “Grammatical information”, lemma translations: “English”, “Russian”, “German”). This is done via the “Add filter” button on the left above the table.
  * Simple search across the complete text of the entries including examples is also available using the “Search” field on the right above the table.
