Urdu books: NCM hauls up education officials

New Delhi, July 29: The National Commission For Minorities (NCM) has
summoned Delhi education officials over their failure to provide Urdu
books in the Capital’s schools. The Commission has expressed its shock
over the fact that even students in Delhi MCD’s schools have not yet been
given Urdu language textbooks even as the second-term exams are scheduled
for September. It has also asked the officials concerned for details
regarding shortage of staff in Delhi schools.
