Marathi Nov 2008 Monthly trial using Roman script (lipi)
symbols on devices for English, if usual lipi devices are
absent, or usual lipi is unknown to students. Usual lipi
equivalents of (sarakaara satya hindee) etc widespread,
for long time so reforms in them unlikely. Use reformed
words in Roman (sarkaar, sat + tya = sattya, hindi) etc.
----
Linear Roman lipi suits typing, datasorting, translations,
internet, email etc. Refer (www.mngogate.com) author's
e-id, M12, M21. Spellings near-phonetic to suit Marathi.
(www.mngogate.com/m12.pdf) Use (a-z), but (A-Z) start
names, original English words. Apo ' near letter in html.
(...) between sentences. i = ee. u = oo. Use (injekshan,
aaiskrim) etc in Marathi but allow temporarily (Injection,
Icecream). (www.mngogate.com/m21.pdf) has samples
in 2 lipi. (www.mngogate.com/e15.htm) hints in English.
Names (Satya) etc may continue. Use (sattya) = Truth.
Prose dictionary words (ghar prem) etc are read (ghara,
prema) etc in few poems (he vishvachi maaze ghar) etc.
Tips a(a-american) aa(a-art) v(w-win) d(th-they) d' (d-do).
Read and hear para 9 < (www.mngogate.com/e03.htm).
----
Future Mar - Eng dictionary extract M2 (case, tense etc
endings omited) helps to guess translation of poem part
M1 (relevant word-meaning if many meanings) Circulate.
