Journal of Advanced Linguistic Studies (JALS) – ISSN: 2231-4075

Original and unpublished research papers are invited from interested scholars for the Inaugural Issue of Journal of Advanced Linguistic Studies (JALS) to be published in January 2012. JALS is a peer-reviewed international journal that intends to publish original unpublished research related to all domains of Linguistics. JALS will be published in June and December every year. Unpublished research and studies related to (not restricted) the following areas of linguistics may be considered for publication in JALS after papers are blindly reviewed and accepted by the Editor(s).

The papers pertaining to the areas mentioned above should be submitted in MS-Word and PDF format to Editor-in-Chief, at <ns_dash at yahoo.com<mailto:ns_dash at yahoo.com>> or <nisedash at gmail.com<mailto:nisedash at gmail.com>> on and before 31st July 2011

Papers should not exceed 7000 words and should be preceded by an abstract of 200 words. The title, name(s), and full mailing address of author(s), including email, should appear on the first page of the manuscript.

Papers will be considered for publication after these are reviewed by a team of experts formed for the purpose. The Editor will notify authors about acceptance (or otherwise) once the comments of the reviewers are received not later than 31st October 2011.

Papers submitted for JALS should be original, neither being previously published nor being considered elsewhere, at the time of submission. The manuscripts should be in conformity with the American Psychological Association (APA) Style Manual 6th Edition available at: http://www.apa.org/pubs/authors/new-author-guide.aspx
