Dear Members of the Global WordNet Association,

I am writing to you on behalf of the Office of Research, Innovation and
Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Art and Culture (UAC) in
Sindh, Pakistan. We are reaching out to propose a collaborative joint
venture aimed at developing a comprehensive WordNet and Synset
programming framework for the Sindhi language. GBC PARTICIPATING IN THE
APPLICATION IS INTENDED FOR FURTHER COLLOBORATION.

The University of Art and Culture (UAC) is a premier higher education
institution located in Sindh, Pakistan. As detailed on our official
website (uac.edu.pk) and facebook page
(https://www.facebook.com/uacjamshoro), our university is deeply
committed to the academic exploration, preservation, and advancement of
our rich regional heritage. With specialized faculties dedicated to
linguistics, history, and computational sciences, UAC strives to bridge
the gap between ancient culture and modern technological innovation. Our
established academic infrastructure makes us uniquely equipped to lead
and sustain advanced linguistic research initiatives in the region.

Sindhi is a profoundly rich and ancient language, serving as the
cultural voice for millions of people globally. Its historical roots are
deeply embedded in the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, directly
echoing the legacy of the 5,000-year-old city of Mohenjo-Daro. Despite
its immense historical significance, extensive vocabulary, and vibrant
community of speakers, there is a critical need to integrate Sindhi into
modern computational frameworks. Developing a Sindhi WordNet is a vital
step toward preserving this heritage and standardizing it for global
Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications.

UAC intends to officially undertake and manage this project through our
Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC). Our office
is fully equipped to facilitate the required research, coordinate with
local linguistic experts and software engineers, and ensure the
project's seamless execution from inception to deployment.

In this regard, it is our sincere hope that your esteemed organization
will favorably consider our proposal. We are eager to commence work
across the different phases of this project, ensuring that every task is
completed in strict accordance with the guidelines, synset criteria, and
formatting standards set forth by the Global WordNet Association.
We would highly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and
look forward to the possibility of a fruitful collaboration.

In piece,

Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Daudpoto
