As the female version of the man cave, the she shed is evidently a 
booming phenomenon.

According to an article by Alesandra Dubin on "Today" 
(http://on.today.com/1JGHCRY), the phenomenon has been gaining stream 
across Pinterest. The article is dated May 12, 2015.

"11 Nominees for the ‘She Shed’ Hall of Fame" (http://bit.ly/1JpUX0I) on 
houzz by Becky Harris is undated, but in the comments section, 
nannerbelle says on April 17, 2015, "Must have a she shed!!!!" The 
article also cites Sandra Foster as the "goddess of she sheds."

"Visit a Victorian Fairy-Tale Retreat in the Woods" 
(http://bit.ly/1C419rc) also on houzz by Alison Aves says that Foster's 
she cave goes back to 1971--though the expression has probably not been 
used that long.
