Kava & kava kava

Thanks to those (Paz Naylor, John Lynch, Ross Clark, Co Webb)
who have given helpful replies to my query about <kava>.  From
other Web searching, I see that there are non-linguists (Vincent
Lebot and others) who have done considerable research into the
ethnobotany and history of kava in the Pacific.  I'll take a look into
their work as soon as I can.
