My guess is that you would need two consecutive text/image displays: The
1st would measure RT when it's less than 1000 ms; the second would
measure RT when RT is greater than 1000 ms. However, this might be a
dangerous proposition since the subject might occasionally respond at
the moment when the first display object is terminating and the second
display object is initiating. Perhaps such a response would fail to be
recorded.
