Megan,

As a general E-Prime programming strategy, I would start by 
forgetting about the SoundIn, and just make a simple program that 
shows the pictures and gets the response time using the voice key 
response.  Then I would make a second simplified program that just 
shows pictures and records voice responses with SoundIn, without 
worrying about the response time.  Then I would take everything I 
learned from those two simplified programs and combine that into one 
program that gets response times from the voice key plus records the responses.
