Many thanks for both attempts at the translation!!  The second version
certainly reveals the story clearly, though not perfect, that's exactly what
I was looking for.  If I have any ideas about some of the more ambiguous (to
us) words, I'll let you know.  If you would send me your current mailing
adress, the music I promised will be in the mail right away.  Thanks again!
