The OE ascian means to ask a question (rather than a favour) and its 
forms should be:
Singular - ic ascie, þu ascast, he (seo, hit) ascaþ,
Plural   - we, ge, hie asciaþ

The Gothic word is fraíhnan and its forms are:
Singular - ik fraíhna, þu fraíhnis, is (si, ita) fraíhniþ
Dual     - wit fraíhnôs, jut fraíhnats
Plural   - weis fraíhnam, jus fraíhniþ, ija fraíhnand

The OE ascian I believe only has equivalents in West Germanic.  I 
think the OHG was eiskon or something like that.  If Gothic had the 
equivalent, it would probably have been something like *áiskôn.
