ARGH! I don't normally spam the group with one line corrections to my
posts, but this one was just so embarassing I had to do it. I meant of
course that there is evidence for YIDDISH prior to this period (as
should be clear by the next sentence)... I guess all this talk abotu
Yiddish being Gothic has really gotten to me ;)
