Hails, Walhahrafn!

We live and learn!  I just came across this verse in which 'af'
translates hUPO, just as you did:

ni gajiukaizau af unþiuþa, ak gajiukais [af] þiuþa unþiuþ.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
MH NIKW hUPO TOU KAKOU, ALLA NIKA EN TWi AGAQWi TO KAKON
R 12:21

(The 2nd 'af' presumably an accidental addition.)
