Hailai!

I tried to translate some of the titles literally into Gothic.
Here's what has come out:

> Kult, Guld och Makt- Cult, Gold and Power
> Ett tvärvetenskapligt symposium i Götene

Blostr, Gulþ jah Mahts
Twikunþjata gamaþli in Gutam

(Actually, I'm in big doubts about the etymology of Götene name.
Also, symposium (Greek sumposion) originally was a drinking party.
If we calque it should we get smth like *gadrugki N.-ja- or
*gadrugkjo F.-on-, cf. ON drykkja?)

> Historieforum Västra Götaland

Histauria-maþl Wistra-Gautlandis

> Goter eller gåtor? - Om Rökstenens runinskrift
> Gothic Tales or Cosmic Riddles? The Runic Inscription of
> the Rök Stone Reconsidered

Gutans aiþþau getons? – bi Raukastainis (?) runamelja (runameleinai)

> Rökstenen – Gåder og svar/The Rök-stone-Riddles and answers

Raukastains – getons jah andahafteis (andawaurdja)

> Goter, götar og heruler-etnologiske og sproghistoriske strejftog
> Goths, Gauts and Herules-ethnological and onomastical
rambles

Gutans, Gautos jah Airulos – aiþnulaugikeinos (aiþnulaugiskos) jah
razdahistaurikeinos (razdahistauriskos) hvarboneis

(All better versions for „ethnological" and „linguo-historical" are
welcome. Could we here somehow get through with Gothic lexemes? And,
what is literally strejftog?)

> Kult och kultsymboler som en indikation på världslig makt
> Cult and cult symbols as indication of secular Power

Blostr jah blostrabandwons swe ustaikneins mahtais þizos muldeinons
(fairhvukundons)

> Lady of the rings - Järnålderens kvinnor mellan makt och kult
> Lady of the rings -Iron Age women between power and cult

Fraujo hrigge (or still figgragulþe?) – qinons aldais þizos
eisarneinons (eisarna-aldais/aiwis, what would happen with this a-
a?) in midjaim mahtai jah blostra

(Good question is how to translate "between": in midjaim A jah B, or
undaro A jah B? in midjaim could mean rather "among").

> Makt och Kult - exemplet Västergötlands äldre kyrkor
> Power and Cult -exemplified by the ancient churches of
Västergötland

Mahts jah Blostr – gafrisahtida in aikklesjom fairnjaim Wistra-
Gautlandis

> Fröslundasköldarna – ett flerårigt europeiskt praktfynd vid
Vänerns strand/
> The Fröslunda Shields –a sensational European Find at Lake
Vänern

Skildjus fram Fraujins Lundam (???) – sildaleik aiwropaiwisk
airþahuzd nehva Wenjasaiwa

(sildaleiks is a bit far from "sensational", I know. Maybe wulþags?
And what was the PG form of Vänern? I presume it was *Wenjaz > Go.
*Weneis, or am I wrong?)

> Riksblotet och Uppsala högar
> The realm sacrifice and the howes of Uppsala

Hunslasaleins reikjis jah haugos Iupasale

> Kultens språk–rituella formler och rituell åkallan i
fornskandinavisk
> religion/ Language of worship – ritual formulas and
invocations in
> ancient Scandinavian religion

Blotrazda (razda blotinassaus, razda blotandei/blotandane) –
weihagawaurdja jah weihagaldra in gudablostra Fairnjaizos
Skaþanaujos (Skadinaujos)

(And what's the way of making a difference between Scandinavia and
Skaane?)

> Kan man tyde guldgubbernes gestussprog?
> Gold foil figures and gesture language

Mahtu ist skeirjan handurazda ... (of gold foil figures - ?)

> Om behornade hjälmar och Odins krigare
> About horned helmets and Odin’s warriors

Bi haurnahans hilmans jah Wodanis gadrauhtins

> Kulthus och kultplats i Uppåkra. Mer än sexhundra år av riter och
> ceremonier vid en centralplats i Skåne
> Culthouse and cultplace in Uppåkra. More than sixhundred years of
> rites and ceremonies at a central place in Skåne

Blothus jah blotstaþs in ... (?) Mais saihs hundam wintriwe blotaine
jah dulþe in midjai Skandjai (???)

> Gravhus, kulthus eller tempel? - reflektioner kring en
> fornlämnings återkomst och möjliga tolkning
> Gravehouse, culthouse or temple?-Reflections about an artefacts
> return and a possible interpretation

Hlaiwahus, blothus aiþþau gudhus? – mitoneis bi ...-is aftraqum jah
mahteiga skeirein

(What is Gothic "artefact"?)

> Urskiljande av en tidig övergångsfas i Nordens kristning
> An Early Stage of Transition in the Christianization Process of
> Scandinavia.

Þata airisto ufargaggamelis in xristeinai Naurþralandis

(*xristjan „to make Christian", *xristnan „to become Christian",
*xristeins F.-i- "Christianization" - ?)

> Kungen, Kristus och Sigtuna - platsen där guld och människor möttes
> The King, Christ and Sigtuna- meeting place of men and gold

Þiudans, Xristus jah Sigi(s)tuna - staþs þarei gulþ jah mans
gamotjand sis misso

Gulþ, hlaiwasnos jah mahts
