Yes, that would be quite necessary. Strong reasons may stick behind 
a given reconstruction, but if the others don't know them they can 
disregard it in favor of another, historically less plausible, 
variant.

For those who would like to see Gothic really revived, a useful 
practice is to use Gothic in their posts, with an English 
translation as defined by the list's policy. Communicating in Gothic 
would show us practical needs in vocabulary and synthax – something 
we won't get otherwise. We can have whole lists of thematic 
neologisms, but lack some crucial everyday lexemes and even not know 
about it! 

In Gothic, the last paragraph could probably look like this:

Þaim wiljandam Gutiskon sunjaba libandein gasaihvan dugi ei in 
aipistaulim seinaim þizos razdos brukjaina þarei jah agglisko 
skeirjaina swaswe qiþan ist in bilageinim þis maþlis unsaris.
Biþe uns misso gutisko gamainjam, ataugjada unsis hvis in waurdam 
jah gasateinai ize þaurbeima – þatei aljaleikos aiw ni finþaima.
Swa manag niujawaudi swe gasmiþon magum niu afsind unsis waurda 
maist bruhta þan bi ainfalþos waihtins hva qiþan wileima, jah þata 
bi sumata silbans ni witum!
