[gothic-l] Re: is Gothic the language of one or a few men?

I wonder if the Vandals ever wrote anything in their own language except
for inscriptions. They were a much smaller society then the Goths and were
less civilized in general.

As for these books, there aren't a lot of Gothicists and not many people
have access to these ancient materials. It's a shame that so few people can
enter the library of the Vatican, there is a chance offinding material in
Gothic in there, especially because the Goths once reigned in Rome and
Italy, in which Vatican City is.
