Wasn't "pashtone" (< Boston) an Algonquian  term for "white man"?
 
There  is a word in the Lenape (Delaware Indian) language, Pashtank, but it 
doesn't  just mean white man, but specifically it is a name for any person 
who doesn't  like Indians.
