The Graduate School for Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN)
of the University of Groningen announces

      THREE GRADUATE RESEARCH POSITIONS IN LINGUISTICS
                (reference # 980004/2731)

These are full time, four year positions, with a gross salary of
DFL 2,135 (first year) to DFL 3,812 (last year). The graduate
researcher takes courses at BCN and may participate in courses
organized by LOT (the Dutch National Linguistics Graduate School).
The appointment is concluded by the production and defense of a
dissertation. The projects start at the earliest possible date.

The research should be carried out in one of the following fields.

Dans le cadre de l'execution d'un programme de recherche-developpement
europeen, le laboratoire des sciences de l'education de l'Universite Louis
Pasteur de Strasbourg recrute un chercheur a plein temps (remuneration 10,5
KF net/mois) pour une duree de 24 mois non prolongeable a compter du 1er
fevrier 1998.

Le programme consiste \224 mettre au point des solutions techniques et
pedagogiques portables pour utiliser Internet au college et au lycee dans
une perspective d'enseignement et d'echanges internationaux.

Les candidats, hommes ou femmes, francais ou etrangers, seront titulaires
d'un doctorat NR (ou d'un diplome francais ou etranger equivalent). Leurs
travaux doctoraux auront portes sur les usages des nouvelles technologies
dans un contexte educatif et leur these aura ete soutenue dans l'une des
disciplines suivantes :
- Sciences de l'education,
- Sciences de l'information et de la communication,
- Psychologie,
- Informatique,
- Didactique d'une discipline enseignee dans le second degre.

Une bonne connaissance des materiels informatiques et des logiciels de
communication et multimedias actuels est indispensable. Les echanges au
sein du consortium et les productions ecrite pour l'UE se faisant en
anglais, les candidats parleront et ecriront couramment cette langue en
plus du francais et eventuellement de l'allemand. Le recrutement suppose de
venir resider \224 Strasbourg et de se deplacer \224 l'etranger (Allemagne,
Royaume Uni et Suede) une fois par trimestre. La possession d'un permis B
et d'un vehicule est souhaitable.

L'examen des candidatures se fera sur presentation des pieces suivantes :
- copie certifiee conforme du Doctorat NR ou du diplome equivalent ;
- le rapport de these (traduit en francais en cas de diplome etranger) ;
- un CV de 3-4 pages en francais ;
- deux publications (une en francais et une en anglais si possible)

Calendrier :
- 19 janvier 1998 : date limite de reception des candidatures ;
- 26-30 janvier 1998 : audition des candidats ;
- 2 fevrier 1998 : notification de recrutement.

Compte tenu du delai de production des pieces, les dossiers de candidature
devront \234tre envoyes de maniere electronique. Le CV, les publications et le
rapport de these figureront en documents annexes au format RTF ou Word 5 ou
