Exigences : 
-  Doctorat ou scolarité de doctorat avec thèse en voie de dépôt en
linguistique appliquée à l'enseignement et à l'apprentissage des langues
secondes ou en éducation (option enseignement de l'anglais)
-  Publications pertinentes
-  Excellente connaissance du français; connaissance de l'anglais de niveau
langue maternelle

Expérience : 
-  Enseignement et en recherche universitaires sur les aspects théoriques
et appliqués de la linguistique et de la langue anglaise
-  Enseignement de la phonétique et de la grammaire normative anglaise
entre autres
-  Compétence dans l'utilisation des TIC dans l'enseignement de l'anglais.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

UQTR is seeking a suitably qualified individual for a tenure-track position
in Linguistics and English in the Department of Modern Languages and
Translation.

Duties: Teaching, research, outreach activities, program management

Requirements: 
-  PhD in hand or solid indication of imminent completion, in linguistics
applied to second-language teaching and learning, Education (teaching of
English)
-  Relevant publications 
-  Native competency in English and excellent knowledge of French.

Experience:
-  University teaching and research in theoretical and applied linguistics
and English
-  Teaching of phonetics and normative English grammar, etc.
-  Conversance with new technologies used in the teaching of English

Additional duties and requirements:
-  Coordination of Functional English classes
-  Interest in teamwork and English for Special Purposes course design
