Description:

The University of Geneva, Department of Linguistics, unit for Computational
Linguistics, invites applications for a senior postdoctoral associate position
in computational linguistics.

Conditions: Applicants should have completed a PhD in computational
linguistics or equivalent, have one or two years of post-doctoral experience
and a good publication list. The ideal applicant has a strong background in
core topics in computer science (programming, algorithms, data structures),
and a demonstrated interest in the linguistic aspects of the discipline. Good
knowledge of French and English is required.

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in computer
science and computational linguistics for a total of four hours a week at the
bachelor's and master's level and be expected to participate in the research
of the unit (see latl.unige.ch and clcl.unige.ch) and pursue their own
research.

The appointment is for a fixed term of 3 years, with an expected starting date
of 1st of September, 2013.

Annual salary is from CHF 92'832 to CHF 98'080 per year, depending on
qualifications.

L'Unité d'Informatique, Department de Linguistique, Universite de Geneve met
au concours un poste de maître assistant(e) en linguistique informatique.

Conditions: Doctorat en linguistique informatique ou titre jugé équivalent,un
ou deux ans d'expérience post-doctorale, bonne liste de publications. Une
solide formation en programmation, algorithmique et structures de données est
requise, ainsi qu'un intérêt démontré pour les aspects linguistiques de la
discipline. Une bonne connaissance du français et de l'anglais est nécessaire.

Cahier des charges: Le poste, à plein temps, comprend 4 heures hebdomadaires
d'enseignement de l'informatique et de linguistique informatique, au niveau du
bachelor et du master. En plus de ses recherches personnelles, la personne
titulaire du poste devra également collaborer aux activités de recherche de
l'unité de linguistique informatique (latl.unige.ch et clcl.unige.ch).

Traitement annuel: classe 17/00 (CHF 92'832.--) à 17/4 (CHF 98'080.--)

Entrée en fonction: 1er septembre 2013
