Description:

Position Description:  The Department of Linguistics seeks applications for a
lecturer or visiting assistant/associate professor in syntax. The appointment
is full time and expected to begin on July 1, 2017.  Candidates should be
ready to teach syntax at any level, (undergraduate and graduate) as well as,
ideally, a field methods class. 

The position is for one year.

Basic Qualifications:  Doctorate in Linguistics by the time the appointment
begins.

Additional Qualifications:  Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is
desired. 

Special Instructions:  Please submit the following materials through the ARIeS
portal. Applications must be submitted no later than April 30, 2017.

- Names and contact information of two referees, who will be asked by a
system-generated email to upload a letter of recommendation once the
candidate’s application has been submitted. Three letters of recommendation
are required, and the application is considered complete only when at least
three letters have been received.
