Meeting Description:

Adjuncts is the third international thematic workshop of GETEGRA (Grupo de
Estudos em Teoria da Gramática – Group of Studies in Theory of Grammar) and it
aims at bringing together studies on theoretical and empirical grounds about
categories traditionally known as adjuncts (adjectives, adverbs and so on),
taking into account morphological, syntactic and semantic issues in the
generative grammar perspective. We also aim to discuss adjunction as a
syntactic operation (pair-merge) under minimalist approaches.

The official language of the conference will be English.

Invited Speakers:

Artemis Alexiadou (Humboldt - Universität zu Berlin)
Jairo Nunes (Universidade de São Paulo)
