Description:

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University at
Albany (https://www.albany.edu/llc), State University of New York, seeks a
Visiting Assistant Professor in Hispanic Linguistics for one year to begin in
Fall 2021, teaching load is 3/3 and instruction is in-person.

PhD in Hispanic linguistics in hand by August 15, 2021. Primary area of
specialization in Spanish second and heritage language acquisition. Ability to
teach Spanish for the health professions is highly desirable. The ideal
candidate will have demonstrated evidence of high-quality research and
teaching. Native or near native fluency in Spanish and English are required.

is filled.
