Position Description: 
Baylor University seeks a dynamic colleague to fill this position in the
Department of Modern Languages and Cultures beginning August 2022.

Qualifications: 
Ph.D. in the field of Hispanic Linguistics required (in hand by start date).
Research or teaching specialization in Spanish for health professions desired.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching
agenda appropriate for an R1 institution and will be encouraged to seek
external funding (fellowships, grants, and the like). Native or near-native
proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

the highest degree conferred (if the Ph.D. is in progress, a copy of the
official transcript of completed Ph.D. hours should also be submitted), and
three letters of recommendation. Rank and salary are commensurate with
experience and qualifications.
