Subject: Levity

Georg mentioned a work by his countryman "SF" on jokes. I think it was
Arthur Koestler, a neighbour from just down the road in the K&K realm, who
said that the main thing SF's jokes had in common was that they weren't very
funny in the first place. But since I can't find the reference in AK's "The
Act of Creation" perhaps I made it up. Somebody needed to.

But why keep the identity of SF concealed - why keep us in the dark about
it? Is this a case of Schattenfreude?
