Dear Lowlanders,
Thanks to all those among you who read my announcement (copy below),
especially to those who wrote or called Ms. Clara Kramer-Freudenthal. Yes,
she is putting on a brave face. Still, it does her good to know that friends
far and wide think of her and wish her courage and recovery. She was
delighted about the messages and things. Her hospital date has been pushed
back to April 26. So she has some more time to look after her ill husband, to
write in advance several issues of her Low Saxon (Low German) column in the
_Norderstedter Zeitung_ and to get other things done. She keeps busy as long
as she can, which should come as no surprise to anyone who knows her.
