just remembered yesterday a quite releated Low Saxon
term to Scots "keeking glass", because the word
"kieker" can be used in a similar way more like "Dee
hebb di wul op'n kieker" meaning, "they have taken
notice of you", here "kieker" in the meaning of
"keeking glass" but the meaning could be as well
"watch out, they are taking the micky of you". Don't
know whether that only applies to the
Rendsborg-Disrict-Low Saxon or to other varieties.
