There are some interesting parallels in Afrikaans:
aerm - aerms (Du. arm - armen) (Afr. arm - arms)
neeve - neefs (Du. neef - neefs) (Afr. neef - neefs)
zeune - zeuns (Du. zoon - zonen) (Afr. seun - seuns)

some dialects have:
broek - broeks (Du. broek - broeken) (Afr. broek - broeke)
rok - roks (Du. rok - rokken) (Afr. rok - rokke)
schoee - schoees (Du. schoen - schoenen) (Afr. skoen - skoene)
bekeurienge - bekeuriengs (bekeuring - bekeuringen) (Afr. boete -
boetes)
verênigienge - verênigiengs (vereniging - verenigingen) (Afr. vereniging
-
verenigings)
etc.

suffix -ens:
kouse - kousens (Du. kous - kousen) (Afr. kous - kouse)
schaesse - schaessens (Du. schaats - schaatsen) (Afr. skaats - skaatse)
staesse - staessens (no Dutch equivalent)
struke - strukens (Du. struik - struiken) (Afr. struik - struike)

suffix -ers or -els:
aerpel - aerpels (Du. aardappel - aardappelen) (Afr. arrtappel
(ertappel) -
aartappels (ertappels))
mossel - mossels (Du. mossel - mosselen) (Afr. mossel - mossels)
engel - engels (Du. engel - engelen) (Afr. engel - engele)
vint - venters (Du. vent - venten)
lint - linters (Du. lint - linten) (Afr. lint - linte)
kind - kinders (Du. kind - kinderen) (Afr. kind - kinders)
lam - lammers (Du. lam - lammeren) (Afr. lam - lammers)
kaolf - kaolvers (Du. kalf - kalveren) (Afr. kalf - kalwers (kallers))

I wonder how extensive the similarities between Zeeuws and Afrikaans
really
are.

Kind regards
Rudi

Arm - Arms

neeve - neefs (Du. neef - neefs) (Afr. neef - neefs)

Does not exist. Is "described", i.e., sister's son: _Süstersöhn_ -
_Süstersöhns_, _Süsterjung_ - _Süsterjungs_; brother's son: _Brodersöhn_
- _Brodersöhns_, _Broderjung_ - _Broderjungs_

> zeune - zeuns (Du. zoon - zonen) (Afr. seun - seuns)

Söhn - Söhns
