staiht de hollandsche Naam gegenöver den neddersassischen, un för Düütschland
de (hoog-)düütsche gegenöver den neddersassischen (nedderdüütschen).  Dat is
'n grote Help.  Wenn ik wat Tied heff (???) un Mathieu dat will, denn will ik
em geern bi de Naams in Noorddüütschland wedderhelpen, un villicht wüllt 'n
paar mank Ju ook mitdoon.

Folks,
     I'd like to draw your attention to the availability of a list of Low
Saxon (Low German) place names at our own Mathieu van Woerkom's excellent
website, a real treasure trove, dedicated to the languages of the Netherlands:

There you'll find lists of names of Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, de Veluwe,
Stellingwerf. Achterhoek, Liemers and Germany.  Those of the Netherlands
appear juxtaposed with the Dutch equivalents, and those of Germany appear
juxtaposed with the (High) German equivalents.  This is very helpful.  If I
can find the time (???) and Mathieu is interested, I would be happy to help
him develop the list for Northern Germany somewhat, and maybe some of you are
interested in participating also.
     This is a good opportunity to congratulate Mathieu on his outstanding
website and to thank him for his support of Lowlands-L on and off the List.
