Subject: CHAT: Tapes courses to learn Frisian?

Does anyone know of where I can get tapes to help me learn Frisian? I
suspect that in the Netherlands they're available, but I wouldn't know where
to start looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Peter! Welcome if this is your first posting.

I take it that by "Frisian" you mean "Westerlauwer Frisian" ("West Frisian")
of the Northern Netherlands, not one of the seven other main Frisians used
in Germany, the eight being mutually intelligible anywhere between fair and
not at all.

The only WF course with audio recordings I am aware of and possess is
_Wolkom! Kursus Frysk ferstean en lêzen_, 1992, Afuk. It is for people who
can read Dutch.

I will be happy to give you details if you can use this source.
